Download the Insight® Java Client

If you have already downloaded the Insight® Java Client, you do not need to download it again.

Start Insight® directly from your computer:
Double-click on the Insight® icon from your desktop or find Insight® in your "Applications /LunaImaging/Insight" or "Programs/LunaImaging/Insight" folder.

Download for Windows (version 5.1)
Download for Mac OSX 10.2+ only (version 5.1)

Insight® Java Client software runs over the Internet. In order to view image collections using the Insight® Java Client, you must first download the software to a PC or Mac computer that meets the minimum machine requirements. Download time will range from approximately 1 minute on a high speed line to 30 minutes on 56K modem.

The java client offers additional functions including:

cross-collection searching
the ability to create presentations
the option to download to HTML or PowerPoint.

Installation Instructions

Win95/98/2000/NT/XP

At the file download prompt, choose "save to disk".
Double-click the file INSIGHT5118_AND_DAT.exe, and click through the installation process.
When prompted, "Are you upgrading from an existing version of Insight?", choose "no".
When installation is complete, Insight will be available under your Start Menu/Programs/Luna Imaging/Insight 5.1.
Start Insight by selecting it.

Macintosh OSX 10.2+

At the file download prompt, choose "save to your disk".
Locate the installinsight.zip file and double-click to unzip.
Open the folder installinsight and double-click on the installInsight file to launch the installer.When prompted, "Are you upgrading from an existing version of Insight?", choose "no".
When the Insight installation is complete, click "Quit".
Double-click the Luna Insight icon on your desktop to launch.
